You can edit the date of everything but the mortgage and lump sum payments because the software has an internal timing mechanism that needs to be able to count on those payments being made on time. If you can't make the payment on the suggested date, make it when you can and just tell the software that you did it on the date it wanted you to. The interest not computed because of you not making the payment on the right day can be updated when you reconcile.
